The rule for online shopping, particularly for buying and pre-ordering videogames, is to use Amazon and nothing else. That is, however, becoming less and less true as the months and years progress. Several companies have emerged as viable and legitimate contenders for the crown of primary online videogame retailer. Amazon was good; offering good delivery times and decent prices, but those are starting to come under threat as well.
The Game Collection has quickly moved to the forefront of the market. While they don’t offer the breadth of a company like Amazon, they offer better prices across the games that they do offer and they tend to deliver well before expectations, especially when you pre-order with them; games often arrive two or even three days before the release date in major stores.
